ART COSTUME DESIGN

I got commissioned to design costumes for Simon Starling NY solo show “The Liminal Trio Plays the Golden Doors” I supervised and work along craftspeople including tailors, milliners, and embroiderers were called upon to realize each garment to depict three original images from the archives at Ellis Island. Exhibition runs from 02/23/17 – 04/22/17

Costume design featured in the exhibition Gender Patterns: Clothing Makes The. The exhibition features work by 4 emerging fabric/textile artists whose work deals with gender and sexuality. Gender Patterns was on view until January 9, 2010.

Costume created inspired in Madame Gres. This piece was about the soul trying to scape from the body.
